About us

Rifco Arts (formerly The Reduced Indian Film Company) is a British Asian Theatre Company, first established in 1997.

Rifco Arts was originally formed as a consortium of Actors and Directors wanting to create a fresh voice in South Asian Theatre, and now, led by Artistic Director Pravesh Kumar, annually produces new writing relevant to the British Asian Community.

In 2005 we were awarded regularly funded status by the Arts Council of England, making us the only RFO in Slough, as well as being the only professional British Asian Theatre company in this region.

Rifco Arts produces vibrant, accessible, high quality theatre which reflects and celebrates the contemporary British Asian experience; with a focus on enticing and engaging new audiences.
